To our dismay, we found ourselves mourning the passing of one of the world’s most talented and esteemed designers…Yves Saint Laurent. Throughout his career, Yves Saint Laurent introduced us to some of the most luxurious and stylish fashions, putting the safari inspired look on the fashion map. Crystal Fever!
Oooh Ahhh….That was my reaction after seeing these Swarovski bags. I almost drooled. One of these bags was most recently featured in the Sex and the City Movie carried by Samantha and instantly caught my eye. They are the most perfect, dazzling, and glamorous little evening bags. I will admit, anything that sparkles and shines usually catches my eye, and these bags just completely grabbed me. Everybody needs a perfect evening bag. They are fashion essentials. A lot of the time it is difficult to find the right evening bag to match your dress but these bags can go with almost anything. They are so versatile and look amazing with every dress and evening outfit. They are timeless and ever-impressive. They are sparkling enough to be extremely glamour just small enough not to be obnoxious.

Fergie’s Handbag Line for Kipling
Fergie is definitely one of the more stylish stars. Her look is unique, distinct, funky, fun, and never boring. Although, I have seen her make many fashion blunders, she has come to proven herself over the years. She may have even found her was as a fashionista, depending on who you ask. Her outfits are always very colorful and vibrant. Fergie has now branched over from just carrying around hot handbags, to designing handbags of her own for Kipling. The latest, Spring ‘08 line of bags really represent Fergie’s fashion sense. They are loud, colorful, funky, and really stand out. They feature bright colors, different shapes and fergie type objects like dominoes. The bags range in price from $38 for a cosmetic bag to $158 for a large tote.

Now, I’m not a huge fan of these bags. I don’t hate them either. I think they are pretty cute. The price is pretty fair. They are big and roomy and good everyday, casual bags. What do you guys think? Do you think these bags are fergalicious? (sorry, corny I know, but I had to say it).

Madonna’s $471,000 Chanel Bag
Now we all love a good Chanel bag, but do you think you could you love one enough to pay $471,000 for it? Well that is how much somebody paid for Madonna’s Chanel bag at the annual amfAR Cinema Against AIDS benefit when it was auctioned off. The bag features alligator leather and a clasp studded with 334 diamonds. It was the bag that Madonna carried to the benefit and included everything she carried in the bag including, Shu Uemura blotting paper and lip gloss, lip balm, a magnifying mirror, and throat lozenges.

Now I guess this bag has a lot to offer. First off, its simply a beautiful Chanel bag….alligator leather and a diamond clasp. That is definitely a one of a kind bag that not everyone can get. Secondly, this is Madonna’s bag! Madonna! The queen of pop! I mean owning anything of hers is pretty awesome, let alone a Chanel bag with all of her belongings in it. Lastly, the money went to benefiting an AIDS charity.

Now, not many of us could pay $471,000 for a Chanel bag, but I guess overall this was a pretty good buy that benefited a great cause. Go Madonna!

The Turquoise Coach Patent Francine Bag
When I saw this picture of Eva Longoria Parker, the first thing I noticed was her bag. I LOVE LOVE LOVE the color of this bag! Turquoise is probably my favorite color of the summer. This shade of turquoise is just stunning. It is beautiful and bold. Everybody can use a bright and colorful bag in their closet for the summer. It is very rare and hard to find a bag of this color….trust me, I’ve looked. The turquoise and gold hues look perfect against Eva’s peach dress. While the color of this bag is so bold and distinct, it can still go well with many different colors and outfits, especially many of the colors and patterns out this summer.

This bag is the Coach Patent Francine Bag. It is made of turquoise patent leather and features goldtone hardware and rings. There is a front pocket right in the center, giving the bag more depth and giving you room to fit your ipod and cell phone. The shape of this bag is sophisticated but given a funky look with this bright color and bulky pockets. This bag also comes in brown and white and can be found at Coach.com for $798.
