Feathers or Flowers? Regardless of which lively textile makes your favorite pick on an evening bag, Coach has you covered this season with two intense choices for the Holidays. This month sure went by fast and for the next couple of weeks the celebrations continue with family get-togethers, employer parties, Christmas gatherings, and New Years Eve.

It is never too early to start thinking about your holiday shopping list! Who is the most “difficult” person to buy for on your list? For some, it is the tween or teen on their list. After all, they are going through a very special time in their life when they change their mind every 10 seconds. Oddly enough, it is also a time when many girls start to take notice of handbags… and (gasp) designer handbags. But we all knew that! We were all tweens and teens ourselves at one time! So it only makes sense that the perfect gift just might be the perfect handbag. Below you will find some of my top handbag picks for tweens and teens. So whether you’ll be shopping for someone who falls into that category, or you happen to be a tween or teen yourself, then be sure to check them out!

1. Juicy Couture Sequin Crown Day Dreamer
You can never go wrong with the classic terry velour Day Dreamer! Plus it is available in a variety of colors. What I like about this bag is that it appeals to the younger crowd, but it isn’t too kiddie (just keep the colors neutral). So depending on how youthful you feel yourself, you might find yourself wanting to borrow this bag from your daughter/sister/niece/whatever!

It’s that time of year where we’ll start seeing a vast array of sequined accessories. Personally, I always look forward to seeing the next best glimmery item of the season. The All-American brand of Coach is ahead of the game with the sparkly designs of the Sequin Mini Sophia Satchel. Not only am I giving this satchel a two thumbs up, but I’m giving it up to the brand as a whole. They’ve really stepped up to the plate and presented some of the nicest pieces in a while.

Tweed and boucle handbags have been sprouting up everywhere and Coach is no exception. This isn’t the first time, however, Coach has played around with tweedy fabrics. I remember quite a few styles floating around a few years ago, although I’m not sure how well they went over. Personally, I like seeing unexpected fabrics on handbags. This is especially true with Fall-ready fabrics like tweed and boucle. That’s why I was pleased to see the Coach Chelsea Boucle Flap Bag!

There was a time in the land of Coach, where all handbags followed a strict silhouette guideline. You knew what a Coach bag looked like, by pure glimpse. It seems like those days are over, simply check out the curves and twists on the Madison Small Marielle Drawstring. I’m so intrigued by the look of this Coach piece, and that goes for any bucket shaped handbag for that matter.

When I was in high school, Coach was the latest craze. Every girl had either the purses, accessories or even shoes. If you didn’t have something of Coach, you were considered “uncool”, so every girl was sure to have even the smallest thing by the brand. For me personally, I loved the small bags. I loved them so much that before I sold all of them I had almost 20! When you add that up money wise, it was insane! The things we do to fit in in high school is pretty bizarre.

While browsing the Net-A-Porter website the other day, I was shocked to see Coach handbags sitting on their virtual shelves. But they have been stocking Reed Krakoff handbags for some time now, so perhaps this was the next logical step. The Coach styles you will find at Net-A-Porter are not your everyday signature pieces. Quite the contrary! These styles are from the Classics Collection, a group of retro styles reintroduced from Coach’s archives. Soft and buttery leather, brass hardware, and simple turnlock closures are the hallmark features of these pieces. They may not be vintage, but you will definitely be tempted to put on some bell bottoms while carrying one! Even more interesting is that these handbags seem to be unique (at least online-wise) to Net-A-Porter. I checked the official Coach website and none of these styles appear under the Coach Originals section. Below you will find some pieces from the collection that really grabbed my attention. Check them out!
