I don’t think I could ever stop loving my Foley + Corinna Mini City Tote! Not only is it one of my favorite colors (fuchsia), it is a versatile style that is perfect for everyday. Its unusual design seems to grab some attention around here as well. As much as I love my Mini City Tote though, I haven’t been paying too close attention to Foley + Corinna lately. So what has this designer been up to? What I found was pretty darn impressive… although I may be a bit partial considering I love my own bag from this designer so much! Here’s what I found though. In the couple of years that I’ve kept an eye on American brand Foley + Corinna, it is evident that the house has transformed their leather goods and accessories from rebel chic to what we see here, clean and simple. Coming across the Small Letter Bag, it surprised me how this piece lacked the dangling tassels, bulky silhouette and the casual distressed leather that most Foley + Corinna accessories possess.
Anytime I come across a black leather handbag that has gold hardware, I scream and immediately want it. I just think the combination of black leather and gold hardware are so beautiful together and incredibly stylish. The two colors combined make a handbag more flashy and give you the ability to carry it around day or night.
I instantly fell in love with the Foley + Corinna “Lady City” Tote. It’s so edgy looking and totally my style. This is definitely the type of handbag I would use all year round and almost everyday. It’s not too casual and not to fancy to be able to use it pretty much whenever you want.
I am still in love with my Foley + Corinna Mini City in Fuchsia! Believe it or not, my favorite part about the bag is the cute little tassel dangling from each zipper pull. I just have a thing for tassels, I really don’t know what it is. That’s why I was heartbroken when one of the tassels worked its way off of the zipper pull while I was out shopping one day. I didn’t want to lose the other one, so I actually got some hot pink thread and stitched the knot together. I know, I’m nuts! But it looks like Foley + Corinna has gone a little nutty too. When you think Foley + Corinna what’s the first bag that comes to mind? Is it the City? Perhaps the Jet Set? Those are both amazing bags but for me personally I’ve done those bags, in various colors. And while I still admire those everyday classics I enjoy even more the new stuff, like the Foley + Corinna’s Lady Mini Bag.
Is it just me? Or does it seem like a little bit of a trend is brewing? I’m talking about ethnic-themed handbags! If you remember, I wrote about the Jimmy Choo Lottie Clutch not too long ago. Well here is another equally-intriguing ethnic piece I found, the Foley + Corinna Bali Clutch! What’s even better though is that this piece sells for a much lower price point and is, therefore, a lot easier on your wallet!
I have an obsession with Foley + Corinna clothing. My closet is filled with their amazing designs. And in the past I’ve owned a bag or two by them and never really had anything negative to say about the brand. Except, I admit I never understood why their bags didn’t come with dust covers. I know it’s a small request, but what can I say I just like to keep my bags tucked in at night.
